HEADLINES WE DREAM ABOUT!
BLAIR, BUSH,PAKISTAN COUP
DILIGENCE KEEPS COUNTRIES SAFE
CONGRESS CHARGED WITH OBSTRUCTION IN FAILURE OF US ATTEMPS TO INTERCEPT PLANE BOMBINGS.
JOE LIEBERMAN
Did Lieberman lose in Connecticut?
Lieberman finished with 47% of the Democratic Vote and his opponent received 52%.
Leo Hindery, a Democratic fund raiser appeared on Fox News channel and stated that he could read a lot of anti Bush in the vote. If that is true, he means 52% of Democrats, if that is true Hinderey needs to worry about the 47% of Bush approval in his own party.
Did Joe Lieberman really lose?
There are 700,000 Democratic registered voters, 450,000 Republican and 930,000 independent voters. (Heard on Fox)
So if Lamont gets 52% of the Democrats, 47% of the Independents and 10% of the Republicans he will have a total of 804,000 votes.
If Lieberman gets 47% of the Democrats, 25% of the Republicans and 50% of the independents he ends up with 861,000 votes and wins the election.
The Democrats have many places to use their funds that are more important than Connecticut. They know Lieberman will still stay with the party vote so there is no incentive to pour more money into the state.
The Republican probably could not win but Lieberman has the best prospects. I used figures based on 100% turnout. The Anti vote will have a better turn out and that will be the anti Lamont.
